And it looks like he won't be charged with any crime. Ah, I love Texas! In the father's defense, he reportedly heard noises in the house, went to investigate and found a man in his 17 yo daughter's bedroom. The daughter claimed she didn't know who it was and the father got into an altercation with the kid and ended up shooting and killing him. The daughter later told police she let her boyfriend into her room...fucking bitches!

Just have to imagine her at school lol. Don't date her, her father will shoot you! In fact rest of her life. "Before you meet my parents..."

fuck that bitch, she deserves to be charged.

And the kid could have given the father facts that he knows this girl before getting into an altercation.

well the girl would have dumped him either way if she didnt admit knowing him... spared some mental discomfort.

sick. but cool... but still pretty sick.

Don't forget the ever faithful golf club-a good 7 iron goes a long way, or a tire iron. God, I wish maces were still in style that would be so cool to use lol.

In rural Indiana, every other person has a back hoe or access to one. Many things can disappear... And Sixer, I said back HOE, not HO (which is how you prefer them, on their back).

Just moved into the neighborhood, inviting strange guys into your parents house late at night, stupid bitch....what the fuck you think was going to happen? Everyone hold their hands together and sing kumbaya at 0230? Especially when you say you don't know him???? Sweet Jebus kids are getting stupider these day I swear.

Yeah, a simple-"Dad, stop! He's my boyfriend" would have defused the situation. Of course she'd be in trouble for other things, but fuck, your dad busts into your room with a gun at 2:30am because he heard noises on that end of the house and finds a stranger in his daughter's bedroom and she says she doesn't know who he is? I don't know what she thought might happen. Of course, now it's turning into a white on black "crime" in the papers. Never mind the dad was well within his legal rights in Texas to shoot the fucker.

The dad shouldn't be charged, the police have already said he won't be but you never know with mounting political pressure. It's too bad too, cause the kid who got shot sounds like he was actually a decant person.

Well, you know if dad was Caucasian and the teen was not, Eric Holder might get involved and the president would give a speech like, "When I was young, I snuck into the house of my girlfriend". Seriously - her fault, dad was within his rights and it is tragic. But, she should not have lied and the naked boy should not have gotten into a fracas with an armed dad.

put the girl into jail, she essentially told her dad to murder a guy.

If the father was non-white would probably get charged with at least manslaughter. Or regardless of color here in Washington state, would at least get charged with manslaughter.

Yeah it's totally different in TX. Here it's legal to shoot someone to protect yourself, your home, your family, or your property. When I first moved here there was a guy trying to break into a homeowner's car that was parked in the driveway-with a shovel. The homeowner came out with a gun, told him to get off his property and the thief took a couple steps towards the homeowner who put two shots of .40 in the guy's chest and killed him....all perfectly legal. The attitude here was that the dumbass should have known better than to mess with another man's property. I do love TX!

Here you would have been charged with something manslaughter and up at the very least if it was justified they would charge you with discharging you firearm in city limits.
