Do you drive a Ford Focus, Fusion, or Lincoln MKZ?

Hi everyone.

Just in case you drive a Focus or a Fusion, I just saw an article that states there is a recall because the steering wheel can come off as you're driving. Just posting this so none of you or your friends or family get injured from it. I believe some Lincolns are also involved in the recall. FYI.

I recommend that everyone purchase and keep with them a cheap pair of vice grips. They come in handy for situations such as these.

This should apply to some F150s to, I had a 2015 F150, police unit, one day I pulled on steering wheel, and the damn thing came off, there is 2-3 set screws that hold it onto the steering shaft, those come lose, and then it slides off.

All I have gleaned from this thread is that Fast dives a Fusion and must turn in his man card and Deputy Swan has experienced sliding shafts.
