Designed a Logo for a company.

I dabble in graphic design once in awhile. But I am a horrible artist so it's rare I make anything half way decent.

So our company has spawned a new logistics company and I overheard some of the specifications. Unsolicited I texted the managing partner the left one and made the right one based on his reply:

Came into work the next day to see what the other designer had made:

Funny enough, I had thought of the same thing:

I don't really like it. But between my work and their desires we made this:

Mockup Based on the vinyl companies quote. Their version is on the truck. My version is on the trailer:

Someone made a comment on the truck being dirty etc so I redid the mockup on this:

Learned a couple of small tricks in photoshop today. But still have more to learn.

Thanks guys. Vinyl for the cabs came today. I'm not impressed with the low res carbon fiber weave texture they used. But that's between them and the person who set that in motion. If they had asked for my samples we would have a better result.

That was their idea. He asked me at some point what carbon text would look like then he asked about doing the whole thing (colors and all) in carbon. I did a rough cheat to show him and I guess at some point he told them he wanted a carbon fiber background.

Have been rolling with it ever since. Now with their pattern, it's lighter. Probably not as bad as the one I have been using as a sample.

Caught 2 trucks so far that have had their vinyl applied. White truck must have been the first one lol. Grey one looks like they changed their mind on placement.
