You can also clall that mercedes god of gods or simply the SLR. As for misiek I never said lotus engineering was bad, just that I wouldn't see myself riding one.
IDK... maybe it's because of associations from back home, but I really dislike Mercedeses/BMWs (especially X5)/Porsche Cayennes... even their supercars.
My dream car has always been the BMW M5. I used to work at a BMW dealer and I can't tell you how I felt to be the first guy to drive the new E60 when they came in a few years back. I was in heaven.
Ford GT40 in Gulf colors, Gulf colors make it iconic... shape and flow of the lines are really brought out by the iconic paint scheme.
Porsche 962 in Lowenbrau colors
Jaguar XJR-9 in the Silkcut colors for Group C competition, Castrol colors for GTP competition here in the states
Nissan GTP ZX-Turbo, one of the bitchiest sports cars around.

Audi R8 - one of the best designed sportscars ever, fast, compliant, maneuverable and an absolute tank when you wrecked it.
Peugot 908 - Beautifully fast
Lamborghini Murcielago - Sweet lookin car in race trim, just not developed enough
Corvette C5R and C6R, GT1 trim - big honking American power that goes, blew away the competition in ALMS GT1, did very well at LeMans

Road racing fan, I'm also an active SCCA Nationally licensed flagger.
Also for those interested, a McLaren 722 SLR-GT has been built for SCCA World Challenge GT trim... will be racing at Petit LeMans on Saturday. Can't wait to see it on the track, TRG built it and it looks real good in blue.
Vauxhall VXR8 Bathurst? It's a nice car, but M5 beating?, I don't think so. They are in two very different leagues. The M5 was one of the first "fastest saloon cars on the planet" It set the benchmark. A benchmark some automakers have yet to touch. I'm really trying to hold myself back, because I'm a HUGE BMW fanboy.
