BF2 Servers?

With BF3 out and busy with support the new game, DICE don't seem to care getting IPs ranked. My guess would be end of november. Nothing we can do.
 
You have to be shitting me? Now I really wish we never made the change to the new servers. What good did it do me?

I'm not directing this at you, you're right there's not much you can do short of pestering the crap out of them but give me a break the end of November for what amounts to a few keystrokes. If that's the case we might as well just write off hosting BF2 from here on out as we will never get the servers repopulated again even with the bots.
 
It's pretty shocking though. Like I logged online yesterday and there are normally 1,200 servers online, with about a quater of them heavily populated.. Now there's only 800 and some of the mods I like to play have gone completely offline! I think bf2 is going to die soon tbh, and if it wasn't for some members not being able to play bf3 I would agree to just scrapping it all together. :(

Lots of servers dropped. So it shouldn't be a problem. Shouldn't assume that Shock.

Mac, unfortunately this wouldn't be possible we needed to upgrade to be able to host BF3 which is a newer title need to upgrade the hardware.
I thought you were getting BF3?
 
No point until this summer. Tuition and health insurance for the son takes precedence at this time. I will just have to tough it out.

As to the BF2 servers, just post the dice support e-mail address and the account number or some other identifying info and let us all send them 1 e-mail a day. I would bet it will take only 2 days before it is fixed. ;)

the way it works, our provider puts the IPs on the mailing list for DICE to approve it. Our BF3 was ranked less than 24 hours.
For Battlefield 2 all we can do is wait until our provider says its ranked and no need to annoy our provider because it is out of their hands as well.
