2008 Presedential Candidate - Who are you voting for?

I'm most likely going to be voting for Barack Obama simply because of 3 major issues in my mind:

1. Economy - He seems like he wants to change the US economy into a better state then it is at right now.

2. Energy Conflicts - I like his take on slowly but surely solving our energy problem in the US.

3. Internet - Lastly, I like the open minded policies of a more open interweb then there was previously.

Who will YOU be voting for this upcoming election?

I don't know who yet. Lots of information will be coming forth about everyone and their plans and also thier past wrong doing.
Just can't choose yet.
These are sure not getting my vote.

Obama,,, been reading about his church and how only blacks can join. The church puts Africa 1st not the USA. It all sounds raceist to me. I would not vote for someone who's church only allowed whites either.

Hillery,,, I could vote for a woman but not her. Her Ideas are socialists and we don't need government controled health care. The VA health care run by the government is a nightmare. The clintons are crooks also. Soulzz posted it best.

I'm just going to need some time to see what happens when the mud flys. LOL
 
From what i have heard so far being that my dad is likely going to put pressure for me to exsorsise my us rights its going to be like a roll of the dice eather way your going to get an atrossity its the lesser of the evils
 
I'm liking Romney a lot more (the more I hear him debate and speak). He has been in business and seems to know what he's talking about. He is by no means perfect but, imo, he's a lot better then any of the choices out right now.

Obama and Hilary scare me... :O
 
Ya not sure yet I know for sure not voting hillary or oboma aside from that I like rudy and huckabee so far but we will see. I don't know that a republican stands a chance.
 
I wouldn't say republican's don't have a chance, I would say everyone in America that I've seen in the polls seems to want some form of 'change'... lol.

If Hillary gets the nomination there will be another republican. I think I like Romney the best followed by obama. Actually I don't like either of the democrats. We will see I guess. One things for sure, taxes will be going up real soon and of course bigger government with it. I don't think its fair that my tax dollars will be paying for other peoples health insurance either. And what the fuck is redistribution of wealth!?!?!? So you work really hard, make alot of money, pay the majority of the taxes, and then have your own government rape you for what your worth. Before you know ot we will all live in a socialist society........

The clinton administration rode out the first bush administration then in his second term fucked everthing up. so no he was not a good president he just took all the credit. And will right on the money I agree with you on all that shit I don't really like obama though.
 
I spent thirteen monthes in Iraq and I can assure that whats going on over there is far from pointless. Judging by your application you haven't really had to tart paying taxes yet, but you will understand when your hard earned dollars that you have poured years of hard work and education into are going into alot to pay for people who do not really want to work. I will also like to remind you that this war was approved by congress and Hillary gave it the thumbs up. Now onto mr. Bill Clinton. There was the bombing of the USS cole, which is a direct attack on my nation as a whole and an act of war. There were no repercusions for the perpetrators. Then there was the bombing of the marine core barracks.... Another instance where our all volunteer military took a high number of casualties..... Still nothing. When given intel on where osama bin laden was he sent a misspe strike to a pharmacitical plant full of civilians...... No osama and a direct act of war on OUR part. Then there was mogidishu Somalia... We sent a few of our best into a hoard of bad guy's and when things got bad we tucked our tails and hauled ass. All of these instances were tragic and no one suffered any repercussions. Allow this has been quoted by bin laden as being big motivating factors for bin laden's attacks on 9/11. Which, acording to you, is a pointless reason for going to war. I would think that you should reevaluate the present circumstances before you post something so emotional for some. For god sakes, one or two of the members here are deployed in combat zones right now and I highly doubt it would make them feel very good if they looked at these forums and heard people saying that their efforts are "pointless".

I almost forgot. Google "operation desert fox". This was a 3 or 4 day air campaign directed at Iraq in the hopes of forcing rigem change. Why your at it you should take a look at the carpet bombing of Yugoslavia. America was accused of genocide by the UN. This lasted for months by the way. He was also successfuly impeached by congress, but was repealed by the senate. Accused of rape. And commited adultry and got CAUGHT!!!!! Its none of our buisness until it reflects poorly on our leadership and nation as a whole. He also put in place the assault rifle ban (can't remember the name of the bill) which was a direct violation of the scone ammendment. The economy was doing great why all the it guy's and entrepeneurs were taking advantage of the rapidly expanding web, but when the ".com bubble" burst the NASDAQ fell flat and has yet to recover. 2 monthes ago the Dow broke several world records but I would guess that that is of no importance.

anyway, just an assholes two cents....... Which also happen to be facts!
