So it has come tto my attention that many of our players (And many members) would like to have Dragon Valley back in our rotation on the BF2/3 Server. I would like to take the opportunity for everyone to voice their opinion on the matter and vote! Obviously the more votes the better the outcome. I also strongly incourage that everyone get others to vote too!

This vote will go on for 2 weeks so we can have everyone get a chance on this.

Yes please! Even if it only comes around every two rotations....it would be a nice change of scenery.
 
I'll say yes this time. When we had it last time for some reason dragon valley kept getting rotated in more than any other map for some reason. oh and i would gladly trade that other level that was in rotation for gulf of oman (cant remember the name was in a jungle?).

Side question, possible to change the rotation of maps? Something like DV, firestorm, Caspian, Gulf?
 
Kan you add this to the Dragon Valley map also --------> REAL DRAGONS!!!!! hehe.

My only concern is the success of the server. Right now it is popular. Changes this late in the game can be a life or death change to the server. Please encourage people to vote on this and get the vast majority. It's going to take dedication.
 
In my opinion DV will take a Dive again soon as Novelty wears off and in turn it will bring B2&b3 map ranking down
So like before im not for this, but goodluck with it
 
I have two suggestions:

1. Only have DV once every 2 rotations due to play length. It will feel fresh when it comes around less.
2. Alternatively, Operation Outbreak has the classic Vietnam vibe and likely would be more popular than Dragon Valley (due to its tight infantry game play). Perhaps rotate this one in every 2 rotations as well.

I really doubt the server will take a nose dive if new maps are carefully worked into the rotation (like I suggest above - perhaps every other rotation). The veterans and regulars are here to stay and we are the ones who keep this awesome server populated. In fact, I think it's the opposite, a lack of variety can drive people to other servers to find it.

I have to warn you guys again cause I think most of the people that vote yes doesn't realize what this change may involve. Don't you guys remember what happen to our BF4 server's when BF1 was released? We had to seed most of our servers almost every day to put them back on track and the ONLY server that did not need my attention was our most popular BF2(3 maps server that did not have Dragon Valley on it. Almost nobody was helping to seed the other servers when we had hard time and most of you stay on that BF2(3 servers instead of the usual FS that you guys were playing. Why are you guys trying to change something that work well again when we do have 8 BF4 servers? Why don't you try this on a server that could use something different instead? And you could also add Metro as well.

All I am trying to say is that our servers are NOT bullet proof if you allow me the expression. I can't afford to always seed like I did so please make a wise choice for once and don't base you judgment only on your taste cause we could loose a lot of new and old regulars.

Another server with Metro, Outbreak and Dragon Valley rotation = LOVE. it just might become a popular server I just think the BF3 maps server is an old skool server and old skool players love their old skool maps such as Metro and DV. Since BF2 is over 10 years old and takes forever in the all maps server to come around. Some players would just like to play it more often and its a dynamic map. Plus the Title says BF2/BF3 maps also. :p Just my 2 cents. again.
 
Dragon Valley brought new people to the BF2/3 server when it was in rotation and the map had it's own 24/7 TBG server which held it's own for even longer than I thought it would. If anything it will get new traffic because the other day I was looking for a server with DV to play in and at the time zero servers had it available which is a niche TBG can get in on. People like the map, when it's brought up in the server not a single person has said it sucks. They say Gulf of Oman sucks. Before TBG I would regularly go to a 3200 tick server that only had 2 maps: Guilin Peaks and Silk Road, it did well. High tickets aren't a bad thing, as young gamers we would plead with our parents for more time to play.

Guys don't get me wrong and just like most of the people here that voted NO. It's not that we don't like Dragon Valley, I would be more than happy to play it with you guys. Our point is it's our best server on the 8 we have and we don't want to damage it. Since we are not sure that this can work well why don't we try it on a server that could use more regular players and test at the same time if it's really a good idea to have this map again. We had this map on two of our servers and did not do that good. Maybe this has changed but it still yet to be proven. If it works that well than I am 100% sure that most of the people that voted NO including myself will change their vote for good.

It's a safe way to eventually get what you want and please both party at the same time.

We haven't even got to the double digits in the date yet, which is more than I can say about the "yes" votes for Dragon Valley at the time of this post 13 yes 8 no. Dragon Valley had regulars, more than I know I didn't frequent it when it was a solo map in a solo server but a friend of mine did and he was there daily adding new people to his friend list, that's what populating a server is about with best scenario in mind is it not?

Mex I understand your point and if it's really true you shouldn't be worried of trying this on another server first cause it will work well of what you are saying right? It's funny cause each time we are having this vote you guys go get people that want to vote yes in advance without telling us and on the NO side nobody other than TBG members vote. That mean that nobody on BF2(3 map server is telling people that doesn't want it to come vote cause clearly there is. Give me a week to tell people in BF2(3 that we are having a vote to add map and I am sure that I will be able to gather NO votes. 13 to 8 doesn't mean anything cause it's always the same people voting when there is hundreds of people playing on it.
