Hello Dandre, our meeting will be on 3/16 so we have yet to have official discussion on our uncap rule. We will make an announcement after the meeting

The rule we always enforced in the past battlefield games was really simple.

Once you leave your uncap and you engage in a dogfight there is not a single place on the map where you get a "timeout". You cant initiate a dogfight then run back to your uncap unharmed, the attacking jet can still come after you. What a player may not do is wait for a jet to take off.

Follow that rule you should be fine. We will brush up in our meeting but that's the way we always had it and worked beautifully.

Ok well i find people dont follow that rule in the TBG Air maps (BF4) but thanks for the bf3 server having fun with that

If people are attacking fresh spawns at uncap before they can do anything, please make a report on the site we will take care of if

The rule was discussed and clarified a couple days ago, here is the official rule clarification moving forward:


Jets that have left the uncap are fair game and may be chased back to and destroyed in their uncap. Enemy jets may not circle the uncap or otherwise lay in wait for newly spawned jets to take off. As always any enemy unit firing from the uncap is fair game.


As far as the ramming goes, we do not allow aircraft ramming in our servers. Typically we will kill, kick ban in that order depending on the circumstances.

if a mob AA is sitting outside an enemy UNcap, and is engaging jets/choppers as they take off, this is in violation to the rule.
