I've got ATT also and had the same problem about 2 years ago. They swore up and down it wasn't them. Then I demanded a service tech come out to inspect the lines-at my cost as they swore there was nothing wrong.ISP will do whatever it takes to put the blame on someone or something else![]()
The tech came out, found 2 problems with my phone line so they didn't end up charging me. But, the problem continued and I kept calling ATT. Finally I got the head of their IT dept one time and he confirmed it was a routing issue on their end. He made 2 changes with my routing and I've never had a problem since then. I only got it fixed out of dogged determination and a refusal to take no for an answer.
