Can u put your chevy in the ocean for the whole day and it start after an hour? Did you watch all three videos? No Chevy could survive this torture, keep in mind they got it for 1000 pounds.

who knows... but whats the practical application for that.............................................................................................................

I thought this was the funniest shit I have ever seen. I always wondered in Afghanistan how those tiny trucks could do the crap they pulled off. They could 4X4 better than my hummer in 4WL.

I've got a 95 Toyota 4 x 4, 2.4L, 4cyl. I've had it for 10 years. It looks like shit but I've driven it all over the US. I got it with 70K on it and have put 120K more on. I've had it 3ft off the ground, taken it in 2 ft of mud and had it going over 110 mph. I towed a Bobcat 773 on a 20ft trailer over 180 miles. It was red when I bought it but painted it after I cut down a tree a little to close to it. It scratched the crap out of one side. I've probably owned 5 full size, 1/2 ton, Chevy's and Fords since I've owned this but they always break down around 100K.

It's not diesel, but it's bad ass.

btw I haven't even done any real work to the thing since I bought it. The radiator leaks a little and it smells like it's gonna start on fire sometimes. There's also a lot of bad noises that it makes that definitely shouldn't be there. I haven't even changed the oil for maybe a year............or checked it for that matter. I don't use it that much anymore unless I'm going to the cabin or landscaping or something else where I'm around a lot of dirt.

im still better than you at bad company 2 doesnt matter what u drive. kris lol

Top Gear drove one of these (drunk lol) to the geographical (or was it the magnetic?!) South Pole (I think lol) with ridiculous tires on and some mods on the suspension for hardening etc.

They made it there and back fine. Pretty cool little "documentary" - I'm sure you can find it online somewhere ;-) .

I'm pretty sure the South Pole is water-locked. You can't get there with a Toyota unless its amphibious.

last time i checked it was too. maybe they built a bridge from Chile, but i doubt it.

Umm... duh?! They actually went to the Magnetic North Pole. It's somewhere in Canada I guess:

I know the South Pole is waterlocked... I thought they might have started from the coast and driven in, but I guess it was the magnetic North pole after all. I remember they started from some town which was way too populated to be a research base :-D ... anyway, it's fun. If you have a chance, watch it. Top Gear's always fun though.

If any truck could do that trip, it would be the hilux for sure. That thing is indestructible. Here is the video in HD.
