Some great bf4 news :D

Defibs now have a battery and only allow 3 revives? That is a game changer.

PS
Didn't think I would ever hear two people suck so much DICE cock in 28 excruciating minutes. Also I really like the new water dynamics, waves will be a big improvement in gameplay.

Yeah no kidding. Dumb. What is next one ammo box and one med pack.

why change something that doesnt need to be changed??? are these people on drugs?

The only necessary kit change is the resupply mechanic for grenades and C4. The new "bro bar" should help a bit since you won't start a round with 2x grenades and have to work up to it. But the ability of a few guys to lock down a map with nades and C4 is absurd.

the way it should be! limited aid kits/ammo crates, makes for interesting games...hell, many battles in 1942 were around various ammo/aid stations! Cut down on stat padding and eventually you will stop being dead as much or continue to suck!

I just wish they would bring back having to resupply your vehicles at airfields and shit still!! MAN! Nade spamming has always been apart of battlefield series, but it is one habit I feel DICE could do away with. Dont sweat this shit, the game still we be fun in pretty much any aspect that you enjoy of FPS...except for futuristic 2142

On the plus side, noobs won't be spamming revives in front of enemies. On the downside....less revives overall.

Only 3 revives, so you can't even bring back your own squad once, i don't think im getting this game after this news.

Strangely, I am not bothered at all by the limited revives. More realistic and you need way more situational awareness when you kiss of that revive. This will hopefully put a clamp down on the noob revives. We shall see how it works out though. Lots of stat paddlers will not like this. DICE is good at listening to the paying masses when it comes to game mechanics like this one.

Its kinda like in BF2142. If you used the defib to much it overheated. Except you could keep using it, just not rapidly.

From Reddit:

Notice at 3:40 that he pulls out the defibs, spends 2 charges or 'shots' (note the ammo counter). He then runs around a bit, but notice how at 4:05 he pulls out the defibs once more, yet this time the ammo counter is up at 3 again. I believe this mechanic (which is similar to BF2) is what Darklord referred to with regard to how they "killed medic trains"."

+2 Defib charges after ~25sec is pretty fair I think.
