Same server different ping?

If the server doesn't change location why do peoples pings change?
My ping is usualy 21-29. Before today same server it has been about 89 all week.
Now its back to 21-29.

Also tonight 9:30-11:30 I was playing for 20 minutes and thought I was doing good.
Looked at my score and it showed me on the top of my side in score.
Didn't look at k/d but remember killing 17-20+ and dieing like 7-8 times.
Then I looked again and I had 0 kills and 12 deaths.
So I tested this BS. Ran out and killed someone and watched it say you killed someone.
I looked at the score and it said 0 kills still.
What the fuck was going on?
 
I replied to your PM. It's been happening to a few people.. fucked up ISP's I bet. :|.
 
It has to be your service provider; on another note my ping jumps up and down all the time.
 
My ping to that server has been consistent. for a long time. Just the last month or so its been doing weird shit.
 
I've had the same issue but now it's fianlly back to normal. I belive their was a bad telecom switch somewhere. It seems as though certain ISP traffic was being rerouted.
 
You have no idea to have a shitty ping...I travel almost 1/2 a year and try a hotel wireless connection. Until you tried that you have a perfect connection.
 
Well for me my ping went from 15 to 85 so it was pretty significant. Especially when attempting to TV. I've noticed with my ping above 50 my TV's tend to pass through objects a lot more often. It dropped down to 35 last week but now it's back to 15 again. Yea!!!!
