ah i see but i was going for your main machine as you cant really run ati with nvidia in sli or crossfire
i have a 9800gtx+ and the biggest bottleneck to this is my dual core 1.8ghz.

i am hoping to save up for an alienware gaming rig or put windows 7 on the next mac pro tower027

My new machine will be Phenom II based (955) with 6 GB DDR3 1333. I'm still undecided on the video cards, I'll probably go ATI because the MSI motherboard I'm heavily considering supports Crossfire.
