OH NOT PB AGAIN!!

Thought I had that PB demon expelled but it's back!! PB is current, running an Nvidia 2070 Super which is present and my firewall has given cart blanch to PB. Any help greatly appreciated!

Yeah it was. I went back in my firewall and PB was missing. Maybe it was the last MS update. I reinstalled it in the FW, rebooted and was able to game from about 8:50 -10:20pm. Sorry, I shouldn't have hit the woopie so fast.

If you run into issues with PB, you can always run pbsvc.exe which is in your BF4 install folder. Just open that, run pbsvc, and do Test Services. It will usually fix the weird issues.

Thanks Pit! I went to services.msc and reset PB and then into my firewall. Found PB was only set to public so I got them both now. Don't understand why it keeps defaulting back to public but this gives a good overview. Thanks again.

Thought I had this demon removed but it's been back now for the past two days. I've updated my drivers, reinstalled PB and have insured FW accepts it, and honestly I don't understand why it keeps throwing me off. Can this be done by an individual? I have done pretty much what's recommended, but it keeps occuring. I am attaching kicks with times for yesterday and today (29 and 30 June) I did not paint one from today.

This video fixed my PB issues a few months back. It's different than the typical PB troubleshooting steps out there, and I've never seen anyone else link it. Don't know if you're in the same boat but it most likely had something to do with installing the game through Steam/Windows 11. PB files aren't installing in the proper directory by default.

Thanks for the add Wiff! I went ahead and found the 3 files were indeed in my SysWOW64 and not in System32 and I've set them in the proper place. I'm still running Win10 but this shouldn't matter. It wasn't mentioned in the video, but I have also deleted the 3 files from my SysWOW64.
