Just before the MP reveal, this showed up on my twitter feed:

5-man squads, commander, much more interaction with the maps, counter-knifing(!), etc etc
 
why does it seem like the people that play these demos have no idea how to play the fucking game?
 
It's not just about the graphics for once, they've clearly thought through the gameplay elements:

  • voiceover tells you which objective has been taken
  • recon guy with c4
  • victim name appears in the middle of the screen
  • Bailing out of the patrol boat puts you on a jetski
  • elevator music :-D
  • enemy spotted voiceover gives a rough location

Looks nice.
 
The environment even looks sick... curious as to how much of the world we could really blow up in this one :)
 
finaly youtube is working for me, that multiplayer looks fucking tight!
 
What the fuck is this, a single player campaign with set pieces (COughD)? I remember when this game used to be pure sandbox multiplayer only...

At least moving water geometry is pretty cool, I'll give them that.

Needs moar bokeh, god rays, and reflective shaderZ. Xshit360 compatible, of course.

P.S. Oh, and I wonder if it'll ship without voice. That way it'll be really fun to communicate with the commander.

Dafuk? I thought that was some kind of concept idea for the video, which hopefully was never really given any consideration for an actual battlefield game.

I'm thinking that'll redefine the meaning of a "no skill n?b" beyond anything we've seen so far. Casual gaming trolls in a supposedly grown-up game? ПICE sense of humor there... if you know what I mean :p
