Walk on it with your bare feet so you can feel each blade of grass coress your skin.

Can't say I took this when it was at it's best, but my blood sweat and tears went into tearing up all the damn sod and helping get all this started. It's been about 10 years since the bulk of this was finished and there's something new very infrequently... For my little bros wedding last year, we extended the deck (the little part you can see is extension) and as a result, rescaped that corner that backs on to the house. You can see the small arborvitae on the left, that little guy is where the recent addition started and goes towards the back of the house (a pathway to the gate now).

yea six! lets see what you are packing back there?!!!! you have been called out!

I'm just kidding, but there's nothing special back there...just grass, a small porch, a tree and fence.

It's same grass as in the front, it's just St. Augustine which is nothing special in the Southern parts of the US. It's a hardy grass that pretty much thrives on abuse. Water it and it does well, handles cold well too. But, it's a pain in the ass to cut because it's a thick, spongy type of grass.

Wow, that is nice!

Vordar - I can't imagine how long that took. I love good landscaping, but don't have the eye for it. Plus it is crazy expensive.
