Conflict with Emulation Software detected.

That is the error thrown when I try to auto-run or .exe run BF2142.
I looked it up on line - but was unable to find a legit solution.


I just bought this laptop... i'm so upset right now. damn!!!!
 
Do you use Daemon Tools, PowerISO, BlindWrite, MagicISO or some other software that allows you to make a virtual drive? If so, disable it. FAST had the same issue. After weeks of searching, he uninstalled his emulation software and it worked again.
 
yeah try that. But mine would say please ensure the cd is in the drive blah blah my emulator drive wasnt allow it to detect it. So i uninstalled that. Never seen a message with conflict with emulation software detected.
 
I can play the game straight after install - but once i install 1.5 - i get that error.

i dont have emulations software... its just out of the box.
it could have something to do with the blue ray stuff?

I dont have any pirated software or vitualDrives on this computer (yet).
 
I fixed it for him. He must have over-looked the link I sent him on AIM. :D.
