COD4 server lag

The server is rather unplayable right now due to lag. Lots of people coming and then leaving do to the lag. My ping is about 40 higher than normal, with spikes way higher.

Yeah. You got me more than I got you.
Also, Air strikes seem to be disabled. No one can get kills with them.

Is it just me or is it taking forever to restart :-/

It was never started back up. I just started it.

I dunno whats up though unless this is common for needing restarts. The connection is never even at 1% of its capacity and the CPU usage is always below 50%. ProCon is the biggest hog on that server as it spikes to 40% on occasion.

I actually preferred the server without the airstrikes, it was actually more playable on maps like bog/overgrown/etc. Not sure if you guys would be willing to consider turning killstreaks off, but I that it would make the server far more enjoyable for my friends and I. Just throwing the idea out there.

Thank you for your input tommy. Sadly we will not be making drastic server changes.
