*Offense: Griefing the ever-loving hell out of me.

Evidence:

Comments: This guy was flying an attack hopper and I was gunning. He didnt want a gunner, he wanted to seat-switch to keep all the points for himself. So he flew over the red-lined area and sat there until I died and he lived so he could fly by himself. I reported this to TWO of the admins on the server (darksteppa1, and shockwaveXL)

The admins didn't do anything but make empty threats. They said they need evidence. I guess I have to record every second I play on your server?

I know what its like to be an admin. I admined several servers for Free Frag Network for well over a year and I'm well aware of every step in the process.

What is dumb is that I have to record EVERYTHING I do because I need evidence or and admin "has to see it". If the admin is playing how can he see it?

I get griefed to hell literally every time I play on your server. Today was the first time in weeks I've ever even seen an admin on the server, and they didn't do anything.

The guy (X-Pilot) even continued to insult me right in front of the admins and they just ignored it.

I hate to sound like an asshole but I will anyway. Almost all our guys have jobs and work during the days so if you haven't seen somebody in weeks then you're playing games while the rest of us are working. I know a lot of our admins are on that server, but it's usually at night in their free time.

My point being, don't come in here bitching and moaning about how you never see admins in the server when they are there on a regular basis, but not the same times you play. And our admins do play the games, their primary jobs are not to babysit every player on the server. If you don't like the server then don't play there. I'm sure everyone will be happier.

Please don't pull the job card on me. I work 35 hours a week and take 16 credit hours of classes.

On top of that I take care of 2 very selfish cats and my little brother.

I wanted to report this guy so you know to look into him. He's been doing this stuff.

On top of that there was a guy named lluumuffin2 that was TK'ing people with a jeep for 3 maps in a roew. I'd watchout for him to.

I want to help make the server better by getting rid of asshats who ruin the game for other people.

I was just simply vocalizing my displeasure with how the situation was handled.

And thank you, Soulzz, for responding like a mature adult. I appreciate the situation being looked into, but I have no proof, so I don't expect anything to be done. I'm just trying to raise awareness of some issues I saw.

there are admins in there every single day, not 24/7 hence why you come and report here. Most of don't play bf2 much but doesn't mean we can't do anything about it. Check out this link right here Players to watch out for - TBGClan and see how we do it. Your statement that sixer quoted is completely inaccurate and BS. Yes we also have lives.

I think our regulars will tell you a different story about our admining. If you don't like it by all means play somewhere else

That Pilot guy wrote something about how he isn't redlining and if you can't fly don't fly blah blah I found his chatter annoying but nothing out of the water.So i am assuming you embellished the insult part a bit. Screenshot of him cutting would be enough. Keep in mind admins are also gaming and not just watching 60+ players moves.

As far as our admins don't do anything this is what I gathered last hour so..............I'll end with that.

Edit: And here we see the other side of things with Fast's post. It[s a wonder the admins have time to scratch their balls.

It just gets old hearing complaints all the time. Our admins do their best to hand the situations that pop up and I do not appreciate people complaining about how they did or did not handle every situation. This is not their job, they don't get paid for being an admin and nobody is ever perfect. So yes, I will gladly be an asshole when all you do is present negatives about your experience in the server and the admins who were on line.

If all you wanted to do was report the situation then state the info and be done with it, instead you took time to go into much more than that. I stand by what I said earlier if you don't like playing there then don't.

In fact they were rather hasty in getting rid of several people fighting as commander and cutting in line for jets etc.

And I understand "it gets old hearing complaints". I understand the hell out of that. I admined FFN for a year and I heard the most ludicrous complaints on a daily basis; such is the internet.

And please refrain from simply telling me to play elsewhere, that's not a very mature way to respond to this situation, its essentially a "GTFO we dont want you here."

I'm not some dick who takes the time to create a profile, find the proper posting template, fill it out and post a thread about a situation because I'm mad.

I took the time to do all that because you have the only BF2 Server that is actually stable (plus the All Maps rotation is awesome).

I took the time to do all that because I want asshats like X-Pilot and lluumuffin2 off the server, these asshats actually get pleasure out of ruining other people's gaming experience.

It doesn't matter if you ugys don't like me or don't like it when I complain about the negatives I see. However there are quite a few Free Frag Network Regulars and Admins who play on your BF2 server and I don't want their gaming experience ruined because I didn't report someone for griefing.

I get griefed to hell literally every time I play on your server. Today was the first time in weeks I've ever even seen an admin on the server, and they didn't do anything.

I must chime in as one who frequents the BF2 server, along with at least 8 other admins who do so on a regular basis.

1. Many times we don't catch something that is typed because it scrolls by fast in a busy server. We may hit page up in console mode if we KNOW we missed something, or ask the others in squad/team if they saw something. We don't catch everything.

2. Typing a message in caps (and repeating it) will get our attention (or !r offending player name) and I know that I or others will find it in the logs if you make a post in the "Players to watch out for" section mentioned above.

3. If you are one the same team as the admins, try to join the squad they are in or ask your squad leader to report it to the commander and tell the admin's squad about it.

4. Even a screenshot will help prove a case, but I am always willing to check logs (as are many others) and ban the offender through other means. I do it at least once a day, trust me on this.

5. Sometimes, an admin may have a soldier in game, but be AFK. Let them know when you see them active in game.

6. We have a number of regulars who are not in the clan who have TS to talk with us. It has been very helpful if an admin is not in the game and they see something. They just find a channnel with one of us who can help.

7. I am not going to berate you for reporting, I really appreciate it. Your tone may have been a bit off-putting due to your frustration. I will see if the offenders are banned and, if not, I will do so shortly so they can appeal and be straightened out.

Finally, Sixer, Fast, and anyone else will tell you - we are not omniscient. Sometimes we miss things, autoadmin doesn't catch what it should, or - God forbid - we make a mistake. But, we do our best and correct what we can. I hope your experience improves the next time you are in game.

I had trouble finding it until I saw in PBBans MPI that your in game name was not the one you registered here with. Once I found your soldier name, it made things easier.

I see that Darksteppa and Shadow were trying to take care of it. I also see that X-Pilot was trying to confuse the situation. If I see him on, I will have a little talk with him. If I see any more of his behaviorin the logs, I will ban him and let him explain it. Satisfactory?

Let me make one thing perfectly clear to you, because I am detecting your quarrelsome attitude extremely counterproductive to your cause here.


I vouch for my admins when I say that they followed the procedure as instructed. if you are unfamiliar to that procedure, please allow me to orient you to where our rules are listed: Additionally, as a community manager here, let me point out that our admins do not necessarily see everything, and as a quality control measure if something goes a rye in game and we over look it, we have a Report Player function via both forums and a chatbox, after doing so, we have a very quick turn around time to fix the issue.

After reading the chat logs, you never actually articulated what your problem was other that "IM BEING REDLINED!". If you have an issue, ensure that you express what is going on as clear and explicit as possible: for example

Utilize this format:

Who is breaking the rule
What they are doing/doing to you that is against the rules
Where that player is
How many times they have done it.

IE:

You: "Lex, I am constantly being cut in line for the Jet by CPT.jerk0ff, he has done it to me twice now, and now he is C4'ing me off the carrier deck. can you please kick him"

Dirty=Lex: Be happy to
Dirty=Lex: !k CPT.Jerk0ff TK, cutting in line for vehicles, disruptive behavior.

If you follow that format an admin with understand what is going on and be able to help you.

There is no need to mention any of your personal responsibilities as some sort of convoluted comparison of what you expect out of our Admins. We all have lives outside of BF2, it's unrealistic for you to expect that we drop everything we are doing and run strait to solve your problem. However I can assure that our community support for our servers is the best in Battlefield bar none and unlike every other server, our players are entitled to a cheat free environment and ban appeals. Along with those features we also provide a great deal of other admin support to ensure our players have the best experience possible.

You will always be treated and handled as an adult here, we will keep an eye out for that individual who was breaking the rules and giving you a hard time, for future refrence, please refrain from digressing to irrelevancies and arguing with the people just trying to get the facts and solve your issue.
