ARMA II arrives on Steam in June 2009

I'm thinking about purchasing it as well.. just not sure if I want to buy it via Steam. What does it say the ETA is on release, Sixer?
 
is it even being released retail? I can't find it even for preorder anywhere but steam.
 
I saw the vid and I am definately going to get but Im not gonna put it on my laptop, ill make a PC when I comeback

The game is designed with a realistic huge environment that can take hours to complete. As you saw in that video, there is no hit indicator. I'm sure he did get a few kills, but that's not the point of this game, it's to work as a team to defeat the enemy :).

Also, T.K., I think it's going to be at EBGames or Gamestop. They said they would announce something on that matter shortly.
 
Steam release date is June 26. I don't know about retail as I haven't checked on that yet. Scratch that, I just checked Gamestop's site and pre-release orders ship out on June 29th.
 
A developer from BIS (Bohemia Interactive Studios) said that the ARMA 2 demo should be out on the 15th or 16th of June. :).
 
Demo has been confirmed for June 25th. It will support SP and MP of up to 16 people. 2 GB download and is projected to be released around 9:00 AM EST.
