I felt I had to stop in to make this post to let you guys know about something that happened to me.
Today I went into the local supermarket (V.G's a spartan store) that I have been going to for 20 years or more.
A security guy comes up to me and asks me to come with him. I am like "ok" whats up?? knowing I did nothing wrong I was trying to be helpful.
He says that when I was last in the store a transaction took place regarding a coinstar receipt ( a coin counting machine in the store) that was bad or something. I tell him hes mistaken, He says I am going to call the police and have you charged and arrested for theft. Then he shows me a picture of me at the counter and has some transaction info that he refused too show me. I was like your going to need to bring a manager and he says If you make me bring a manager down here im going to call the police and have you charged. Ok this is infront of the whole damn store. multiple people that work there know me and even live in my neighborhood. I tried over and over to explain that he is mistaken and he kept threatening to call the police over this supposed 38 dollar coinstar thing.
He says the store just wants their money if you pay it we wont call the police....
At this point I am shaking im so pissed and totally embarassed in front of neighbors and friends.... I kept my calm and finally he agreed to let me go if I would return tomorrow and pay the 38 dollars.
So tomorrow I am going to go there, but I am going to refuse to pay the money. I contacted my defense attorney and he advised me to let them charge me.
I am most certainly not going to let this go...I have been embarrassed and falsely accused of theft. Then threatened with "charges" in front of a whole store. I am beside myself I am so angry. I have never in my life been so outraged over something but this is way too much.
Well I hope everyone had a good weekend lol. mine is fucked.
On the bright side though I am innocent and let me tell you when I get done sueing them for this I may be quite wealthy.
