XCOM: Enemy Unknown

Guys, if you're casting about for a game in the near future, consider this little beauty. It's a remake of one of the greatest PC games of all time by Sid Meier's crowd. It's awesome. I got it 24 hours ago and since then I've spent a total of two and a half hours not playing it. Christ, I'm hungry.

And my arse is starting to ache. I need to relearn how to unbend my legs so I can go to bed.

I bought it for my son on a deal last week that also gave him Civilization 5, I think, among other things.

Damned good game. If anyone wants to play some 1v1, hit me up. I loved the old Xcom, and while this one disappointed in many areas, I would still consider a damned fine purchase. Also I wanna play some 1v1.

I never played the original one, never found the appeal in turn-based games...

Well, compared to other remakes of old games, this one knocks it out of the park. However, comparing to the original Xcom, this game sorta falls flat in a lot of areas.
