windows 7 question

im getting a copy of windows 7 64bit ult. free from work on sept 1st. when it comes in, should i upgrade over my vista 64bit ult, or start a new, clean, install?

if i can just upgrade that would save me the trouble of reinstalling everything. but, i feel a new install is the way to go.

A new, clean install is the best way to go.

Clean install is the way to go, and Win7 installed in 10 minutes on my SSD. Even on a traditional HD it installed inunder 20 minutes so it's not as painful. But it will definitely run better with fewer problems with a clean install versus upgrade.

will do, thats what i figured. you should make a quick tips thread for windows 7, like how to get 2142 working. save people some headaches.

i have been using win 7 for a month or so now,no problems with 2142.
