Battlefield setting: Pitch and yaw at 1 each.
Had sensitivity at .5 and trying .6 now to see the difference.
Wondering if there's a magic number I should shoot for?

PS TBG member on Vent (don't recognize voices yet, but thank you)
pointed out that dpi, mouse, etc. must be taken into consideration) DUH!

So, I'm not very computer saavy (depend on my son for that & he doesn't play Battlefield)

I have a G9 mouse that he set up:
X & Y axis 800 for TV and 3200 for flying (I never do both at the same time)
report rate 500
vertical speed 1
horizontal speed 7

If you want to answer, maybe just edit what you typed as the Battlefield setting with more info. THANKS

I don't touch Yaw or Pitch. Sensitivity is at .5.

1.

i use the mouse on-the-fly at 400,800,3200 dpi. i can solo, fly, and tank at those settings.

Thanks for the answers roth and others.
I'm going to park the gunship and do some serious experimenting
First try sensitivity 1. at 400 and see what shakes.

Since I don't know what I'm doing--other than the land vehicle is sensitivity, it's gonna take a lot of time.

As the numbers increase, are the effects of SENSITIVITY and DPI the same?
I don't understand the difference of having one high--the other low, etc.

I have a 22" screen and gonna install a 25.5 screen today -- someone told me I'd probably get motion sickness for awhile. No problem -- when I first started TVing for Daemon_Kai --- got sick big-time--but he became my favorite pilot.

The higher your DPI, the more your mouse cursor moves across the screen with less movement. The opposite applies at lower DPI. Hope that helps Cease :).
