Video drivers

I was wondering when updating video card drivers if any of you:
Uninstall the old ones first?
Run drive sweeper.
Run reg removal.
Then install new drivers.

Or do you just install the new ones on top?

I have done it both ways my self.

I used to do:
Uninstall Video Drivers
Restart
Run Drive Sweeper / Reg Cleaner
Install Video Drivers
Restart

Now I just uninstall, restart, install new ones, restart, and I'm set .
