Vent issues

Ok so I'm having some problems lately sighing on to vent, I'll boot up my cp, start vent and get MSG: contacting server, and nothing happens, sometimes it just starts up fine. really getting kind of annoying. sometimes it does it sometimes it dont. Anyone else haveing this problem or is it just me?
any suggestions?

It sounds like your using the DNS, tbg.nationvoice.com. Try using 209.160.64.21 instead . Same port ^^.

I had that with some sound card driver issues on my last computer. The fix? Still not sure how I did it other than a clean install of everything.
