The Naval Battle of Leyte Gulf - US vs Japanese Empire (Oct. 1944)

In my opinion, one of the best unbiased War documentaries. My other favorites are:

The Battle of Kursk
The Battle of Stalingrad
The Battle of Britain
The Battle of Berlin
The Air War over Germany
Pearl Harbor
Dien Bien Phu - The Legacy
Search and Destroy
Countdown to Tet
The Fall of Saigon

Another reason why I enjoy watching the Discovery Channel Battlefield series is because each battle is broken down into two separate parts:

Part 1: Prelude to the Battle
Part 2: The Battle

The graphics are dated but nevertheless presents a clear understanding of how the battle developed, climaxed and concluded, respectfully.
