Toshiba, LG and AU Optronics Corp have agreed to pay a combined $571 million to settle a lawsuit over price fixing in the liquid crystal display panel market. What gets me is that this is on top of $538.5 million other companies paid out a couple of years ago for the same thing. The saddest part of all this; consumers get "up to $25.00" if the sign up to be part of the class action suit and can prove they purchased an LCD from one of the manufactures from 1996-2006...and the lawyers ate the rest of the pot of gold.

Now who's going to file against the attorneys for price fixing their fees?

I was just about to ask that Six, other than the lawyer's, who is getting any of that money? Fucking lawyer's

You know the difference between a trial lawyer and a catfish? One's a scum-sucking bottom dweller and the other is a fish.

This lawsuit has shades of the great Pentium class action suit where Pentium owners would get next to nothing and the lawyers got rich. I didn't participate in the class, since Intel gave me a replacement at no charge.
