I took a lot of rides on those - maybe I should thank you gator Navy guys. The Raleigh, Duluth, Dubuque, Guadalcanal, Tarawa, so many ships.
 
I was an INTERIOR COMMUNICATION ELECTICAN at INGALLS shipbuilding on the TARAWA, and I remember sailing with the GUADALCANAL in a excerize.... I was an OPERATIONS SPECIALIST in NAVY!


DOGMEAT
 
I was an Aviation Machinist Mate and I worked on all Marine's aircraft on my ship. I was training specifically to work on the Cobra's.
