for those who don't know, project reality is an approx 6 gig mod for bf2 that has an emphasis on strategy and teamwork. check it out Project Reality : Realistic Gaming Redefined you will need to download and install both the map pack and the actual mod, both are around 3 gigs each from what i remember.

Is it anygood?

It's a tactical realism simulator. If you like a high learning curve (much higher then BF2), and you are a very patient person, you will have fun. It's like ARMA 2, but not well detailed in the graphics. Both games play very similarly.

Have to check this out when I find some free time. Thanks for posting it!

No, no it is not a "Simulator". PR is a more advanced version of Bf2 that puts more emphasis on working together as a team, a more complex battlefield, careful thought when playing, and a TON of patience. Arma2 is a more "realistic" and it's not even a simulator, if you want simulator, check out that retarded train game on steam, or FSX where you will spend hours upon hours learning the basics with virtually no game play.

It's got some fairly good gameplay, every duty it broken down into different kits, for example you have to be a pilot to fly, a crewman to drive a tank, and there are limits on how many of each kit are issued per team, such as AT, Snipers etc.

Gameplay can get slow at times, especially if you want to fly or tank it up, as helicopters, jets and tanks take 10-20m to spawn. however if you like squad infantry combat it's can be very fast paced at some points and sluggish slow at others.

forgot to mention, there is a christmas map pack you need to download too
