Port 3659 BF4 error

I keep getting this error in battlefield the last 2 days.

My son plays at the same time as me. Will this cause issues?

It could, in theory. Do you have a router and a modem, or an all in one? You might be able to resolve it more easily if you use a cable modem plus a router because you can test settings on the router and change the ports, etc.

I am connected directly to the cable modem and everyone else is thru the router.

A very quick search found this:

A. Try restarting router/modem.
B.

go to......

Start\Computer\C Drive\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 4

Once in there delete the pb folder

Next look down at the bottom in the Battlefield 4 folder and you will see a file called pbsvc

Click it and run it.... at the start of it you want to check the ...."Un-Install/Remove PunkBuster Service"
Then Hit Next and continue to run that till finished. Once done close that out and all folders.

Next step is to go to punkbuster website...

Click the version of OS you are running. Download it and run it. Make sure to Add BF4 to PunkBuster.

Next step is to Open up Origin. At the top left Click Origin.
Then click Application Settings.
Once in here go to the Origin In Game tab and click it.
In the General part make sure that ..... "Enable Origin In Game" is unchecked.

After all this is done..... just close your web browser and Origin completely then Restart Origin and log into BF4 and play your game.
