Need some help please

I have been trying to play CoD4 multi player and i updated it to 1.7 but every time i try to join a server it tells me i have the wrong version

I have 1.7 installed

everytime i try to join a server it says i have to have 1.6
Other then a full reinstall is there any way to revert back to 1.6 or does anyone know how to fix this?

Do i need to install patches 1.1 - 1.7 or what please please help

Thats what I did. Patched it with two updates 1.1-1.6 then 1.6-1.7 after I reistalled it.

yup it worked but retardly i didnt save my saved games
I had beat every stingle level on veteran and had my arcade score all the way thru on hardened was over 800k but meh when i have nothing to do one day i will d otit again
