Is this what is like to be a pilot

Yeah Red Flag is fun. No I am not a pilot but it's cool and to have a practice scrim for real life war is an excellent idea. Hell maybe Lex can participate one day.

I wish I could of seen the F-22s there. I heard it beat the shit out of everyone. You know who wins the battle here though, the AWACS, they just turn on the dome and concentrate the radar, BAM! Insta-radiation poisoning and death! Yeah but red-flag is the most realistic thing you do besides actual war.
 
Gawd, I hate the F-22. I was at Edwards when the 22 vs 23 went on, LOTS of political bru-ha ha behind that decision. Not saying it isn't a capable aircraft, but ugh. Anyway...
Alot of the general public doesn't realize how stupidly awesome an AWACS/fighter squadron is; pretty much untouchable. As Deploymentking can attest, the USAF is more about air to ground power now more than air/air. But it makes for cool videos!

Sgtdeadred has been on a few redflag's iirc.
 
I saw some IMAX video of it and it looked alright... kinda boring, but it's a simulation after all. It's as real as it gets I guess.
