IN GAME AA SET AT 1x

I cant get the in game AA to go above 1Xaa, I have the latest update for BC2 and for my video cards. What should I do?

Changed it to 8AA however in game it only lets me select 1AA

If you are running DX9, you will only be able to go to 1. If you have a video card that supports DX10 or 11 and windows vista or 7, go to settings.ini and change DxVersion=auto to 10 or 11.
