G3 Question

Is using the scroll will and/or scripting of the G3 assault rifle allowed? The only reason I ask is because I encountered it today and it is frustrating to have someone, seemingly, manipulate the game. I know that every clan/server has a different stance on the matter - so I thought I would ask. I personally don't have any use for it on plans on using it.

edit: use it on BF3, as for COD, I don't know...

I'm not talking about using the G3, I'm refering the using the g3 in combination with a script or the scroll key. Its often considered to be a exploit of the game.
