Looks good. In real life a pilot friend of mine described flying a helicopter like this; " its like trying to juggle with your hands while standing on a bowling ball and kcicking that in the air every once in awhile to add to the juggling"

What is the learning curve to be a good pilot? 6 months or so?

Depends what you consider a "good pilot", every person is different, from my observations it takes the average person about 2 months of solid practice to "Become good"

but flying is something that is 70% experience, and 30% technique

there is only so much you can do with 1 airframe, everything else is you just knowing what to do, so based on how experienced you are will dictate how quick you pick up "leet" status
