Ok I'm kinda excited about going ot see this movie. *Note* I haven't went to see a movie since "I Am Legend" and came this close to going all Ted Kaczynski on the theater and Hollywood for that crap. I hope this movie doesn't let me down but in all probability it will.

I -still- haven't seen District 9 yet, but i plane on buying enough green and blunts to last the entire drive to the theater and then some... I'll see it this Friday, heres to luck.

I downloaded a copy last night and watched it. Had some issue securing english subtitles for the alien speech...
The movie was awesome. Not what I was expecting at all. The trailers and the commercials really leave a lot out. On Friday we are going to go see it on the big screen.
Initially I was under the impression this was going to be a drama type film.; it so wasn't.
Enjoy.

Reviews are really good, both on IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes, so I doubt it will disappoint.

i saw it two days ago. I say its a potential film of the year.
It wasn't done by hollywood. Thats why it was a good film haha
Budget was 30 million.

The first 30 minutes was a little boring but the film was fantastic. GO SEE IT.
