"I noticed that my BFBC2beta folder has a input folder which is marked 'read only', now it should not be that this could prevent any changes to the files inside it, however if so, than removing the attribute could fix that. Anyone care to try?
(I would if i could, however i have not yet got my copy of BFBC2.)
Also noticed that the dbx files in the input folder can easily be edited with notepad, changes to the files is quite hard since they are so enormous for something simple as key bindings! : )
Perhaps the developer of this BFBC2 Configurator App can come up with an alternative to the keybinding mess?"
"Correct, it allows you to use your controller without the games settings. It will still show what bindings are in-game for the joystick, but can't apply them b/c the file is missing from the folder. Hope this hepls people out."
Fir those that are having some issues with binding controls to a keyboard or Joystick, or even having the random keyboard/mouse doesn't register in game.
