Is there a way to shoot down aircraft in the Gulmud map, or any other map with aircraft?
Choppers are as good as some cheats. Stingers just don't do the job.

As far as tanks go the Javlins suck too. lol

1 recon with PLD, 2 guys with Javs, 1 guy with ammo. Once jet locked javs fire, don't need lock any more.

Works great if ya have a squad that can work together.

The most reliable tool is the stealth jet, but it has quite the learning curve. Mobile aa can take down helis pretty regularly but if there's a good pilot/gunner combo it can be difficult.

Edit: also, other helicopters. Attack helo on attack helo is a manly way to go about it haha

I have found that the IGLA does a reasonable job shooting aircraft down.

Buy the way, on maps that have aircraft, is there a way to limit the number of aircraft that are spawned?

For example Gulmud, in my opinion has way to many aircraft. And they are next to impossible to shoot down.
And there are times when one side has aircraft and the other side doesn't. Just a thought.

Unfortunately there isn’t a way to limit how many aircraft can spawn. You can limit the timer it spawns but we have always left it on default
