I think BC is the first and only Battlefield game to have a "single player campaign."

Not sure if it's an improvement.

At least it looks like there will be plenty and varied environments (snow looks like it will be my favorite) if the game itself turns out well.

Anyone know how many MP maps there will be on release?

Nagona play SP for sure, unless I need to change the settings, MP all the way biatch!!!

Yeah, single player sucks ass. I'd rather work on my yoga skills to suck myself off first.

lol idk why people don't like single player campaigns, developers work really hard on them and they're usually really fun imo

sweet- I still haven't played 2142 single player- I only let my 4yr old play single player. he sits in AA in the base and waits for GS. can't get him to cross the bridge

In the case of other games, I highly enjoy Single Player. With battlefield though, I feel like the appeal of the game for me is exclusively multiplayer. Thus, the money/effort they spent on making the single player campaign (voice acting, motion capture, scripting, mapping, AI coding, maps, etc., etc.) would've been better spent on the multiplayer part imo.

Battlefield doesn't need SP.

Gotta please the console fags though I guess...

Although there are MP-only games on consoles, they don't do as well...

Honestly, I love MP as much as the next guy...but the old-school gamer in me always wants to beat a game when I get it. I am really pumped that the SP has a fair amount of weight to it. Sure, I will spend the vast majority in MP, but I like to experience the hard work the devs put into a game.

Call me a tool for it, I don't care. But all the great titles I remember over the years all had a solid solo campaign in them.

wtf 2142 has single player hahha.. yea single player is if your really bored and wan to to play in movie in my eyes haha... multiplayer = where your skills sucka!

but im an ass dont listen to me

bu like anything shit get old b u tMP last longer than playing tahat single player over and over.

nobody's telling you to play single player over and over lol
just once is usually enough
yes, the staying power in the game comes from the multiplayer but that doesn't mean there can't also be a good fun single player that you play through once to have a good time
