Well the 8800 GT is dead. I left it to do some folding and the caps where whinning but I ignored it and let it die while I slept lol. Thats my first GPU to die EVER.

Got it in the case. Still cant find the extra stand offs so im not gonna bother tying down any of the cables yet.

Runs portal great on igpu but unfortunatly wont be enjoying BF3 until a week after it comes out.
 
As I said before, Rain: only YOU could buy a fully modular PSU and still have an ridiculous mess of cables.
 
I done told you the motherboard has to come back out to install the rest of the stand offs no point in doing wire management yet.

Havent really messed with it much yet. Got it running 4.2Ghz @ 1.3 volt. SHould run lower but dont feel like fussing with it yet. Just referenced the turbo voltage for 3.7 @ 1.33 and took it down a hair. Getting some nice folding bonuses with this cpu.

EDIT - Just bumped to 4.3 for giggles.... and now 4.4 @ 1.32 to be safe. Going in for 4.5 had to start flipping the real switches.

Alright finally got the bitch to actually boot at 4.6 testing now

Don't worry the power supply came with a bag of them and i only have 4 installed at the moment! Oh and once I put 6 hard drives in mad sata cables too!

I have decided I am not willing to blow this up for 5ghz. I still hope to get there atleast single cored for the club. But Not sure how much higher than 4.5 daily I will be going. Getting some one on one help tomorrow. Shall I fail maybe ivy bridge will get me there next year.

That's a modular PSU? WTF? I didn't think it was possible to have so much clutter with a modular, guess I was waaaaaaay wrong.

The problem is no one is realizing its not the psu thats the mess of wires......

Lets see 2 sata cables and 2 power from the docks, 9 wires from the fan controller, 1 more power wire from the cigarette lighter. Front panel audio, front panel usb, front panel switch wiring..... fan wiring.... the list goes on. If i remove the PSU you will only notice the 24 pin cable missing for the most part.

Oh and since the motherboard is going to have be removed in a few days why bother cleaning it up....

You also have a case with cable management. You have also actually cable managed prior to taking the picture. I have neither and refuse to tie down a bunch of shit when the board is coming out tuesday.

I took the picture after i put the board in, it doesnt even look like that at the moment. Nor will it look half that bad when I put the motherboard stand offs in and actuall do my wire management.

That sucks lol. I just need something to game on until about the 3rd. I shouldnt have wasted the card folding.
 
Once again some jackass with a full size case and cable management. Who actually has a picture of the machine in a complete state.

Dangle all your cords out the front of the machine, thats what I did and take a pic lmao.

I am not flexing my unsupported motherboard about while i route cables that are all getting ripped out on tuesday.

Should be able to run some of it behind the plate for 3 inches when i do actually wire the machine:

I actually think thats still a shitty mess for having wires across the board. Mind you on myne its gonna be tight getting the cpu power cable routed around the board.
 
Or we can just pull a renno and have so much stuff jammed in there and bundle the rest behind the PSU that you dont see half the wiring.

Once again YOUR pic has actually been managed a bit, you have actually routed cables.

I threw the board in hooked up power and took a picture without doing anything else.

LOL no seriously. If i was building up my truck and I took a picture with the primary wire harness laying across the motor. You really gonna be like OMG that pic of your mess in progress is a fucking mess? Probably thats how we roll lol.

But you actually managed the cables. I have not. I had not even plugged the fans in when that picture was taken.

Its like saying your bomb had a bigger explosion when I havent even set myne off yet. It makes little sense.
