I just noticed that today the new 3DMark is available. It wasn't last night when I checked but oh well. You can get it here: 3DMark.com
DirectX 11 testing can begin
After a slight delay, but just in time for the new GTX 570, Futuremark has finally released its latest benchmark suite, dubbed 3DMark 11.
The new 3DMark brings some new features like tessellation, ambient occlusion and volumetric lightning in order to bring the most powerful GPUs to their knees. The new benchmark has four graphics tests, a physics test and a combined one to test the entire rig.
As before, the new 3DMark 11 has three different levels, entry, performance and extreme, where various settings are changed in order to give as much trouble as it is possible to the new GPUs.
It is available in three versions, Basic, Advanced and Professional. The Basic one is free, while the Advanced and Professional will set you back for US $19.95 and US $995.
