These cars look very nice

I've never been a fan of classic cars. They look like old pieces of shit to me; I much prefer resto-mods that add superior components in the suspension or engine, tires, exhaust, etc.

If you're going to have an old car, pimp that shit out a little:

Most impressive cars I've seen lately are the UGR gallardos. Those things are a whole new level of performance.

I'm with you Sixer. I'm a fan of classic American muscle cars with a modern touch. If I could have any car it would be a 1970 Chevelle SS but with modern conveniences.

Fuck, I'd love to have a 55 Chevy Bel Aire big block with a blown engine :) Something like this:

I hate those rubberband tires on muscle cars. that shit makes me want to club baby seals and kick kids in wheelchairs in the nuts

also with Sixer, you get the looks, but with todays performance. Wouldn't be my ultimate pick, but definitely on the list if I came into big $$$

That's why I love 90% of the stuff Foose does.

I like your choice of cars sixer. Its true that the cars in the slideshow are nice, but they don't stand up to American muscle like this 1965 Ford Mustang.

Hell yeah, look at this 55 Bel Aire Foose did...fucker even put electric heated leather bucket seats in that bad boy. :)

What I like about what he does is this: he upgrades the drivetrain and suspension to modern tech which is awesome, but he'll take a 1/2" out of an A pillar, or fill in a bumper, or some small change and it just DOES something to the flow of the car. You look at it, and it looks awesome and you KNOW something is different, but you can't quite tell what. The 'Cuda he did for Joe Rogan is a prime example, and I don't even like 'Cudas.

Fuck. Yes. Well, not any car, but a classic muscle car? Pfffttt has to be a 70 Chevelle SS.

Real American muscle, none of that boxy bullshit that can only move in a straight line. Bob Bondurant in the 427 Cobra Coupe, first American car to beat the legend of Ferrari.

Such a badass car. Lotta Ferrari in that design though ;) Edit--actually, more Alfa---Ferrari came out with the Daytona in 68. Anyway, much baddassery.

Le Mans 1967 remains the only truly all-American victory in Le Mans history - American drivers, team, chassis, engine and tires.

Cough Cough. GT40 was not an American car certainly not all american. First 3 generations were built in the UK. Cars haven't been made in one place since Henry Ford finally painted something other than black. Forget race cars since team efforts just complicate that.

Edit - So the 67 was the Mk 4, nevermind :p I guess we can cross that one off the list of british built monstrosities
