Ok for all you firefox users lets hear some good addons. And if your using Internet explorer go download firefox right now. http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/ even gave you a link.

I personally dont use to many addons but i like to use Flashgot and DownloadthemALL seperately they arent anything special but combined they are perfect. flashgot will get every link/media file on a website and create a download list for download them all which set up properly can queue and download all your files to all different directories at some pretty good speeds because it will split your files into sections and download each section automatically.
my favorite thing about flashgot is that you can go to youtube and go to your tools menu and go down to flashgot media and it will download whatever youtube video you are viewing and convert it into mp4 with about 3 clicks. just make sure to remove the unneccessary downloads from the list before you start it, it grabs a few of them when you click media.

Ad-Block Plus.

Ad block plus- https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1865
fucking love it. Haven't seen a damn add in soooo long.
Ever been annoyed by all those ads and banners on the internet that often take longer to download than everything else on the page? Install Adblock Plus now and get rid of them.
For a quick overview watch http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oNvb2SjVjjI

Cooliris- http://www.cooliris.com/product/
It's simply the fastest and most stunning way to browse photos and videos from the Web or your desktop. Effortlessly scroll an infinite "3D Wall" of your content without having to click page to page, whether you'e on Facebook, Google Images, YouTube, Flickr, Picasa, Kodak Gallery, or any supported site. Or channel surf the latest news, TV episodes, movies, and music videos all from within Cooliris.

CoolPreviews- https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2207
Browse faster -- Preview links and images without leaving your current page or tab. Just mouseover any link, and a separate preview window immediately appears to show you the content. (TIP: The fastest way to view many links on a webpage, such as Google, is by mousing over subsequent links while the preview window is still open or locked.)

Tab mix plus-
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1122
I dont know what I would do without this one.
Tab Mix Plus enhances Firefox's tab browsing capabilities. It includes such features as duplicating tabs, controlling tab focus, tab clicking options, undo closed tabs and windows, plus much more. It also includes a full-featured session manager.

Tiny menu- https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1455
Cleans up the menu bar.
Replace the standard menu bar with a tiny menu popup.

Disable menu- https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3300
This extension allows you to show/hide the main menu. It can be accessed through a toolbarbutton, keyboard shortcut and popup-menu-item. It also supports autohide. the statusbar can optionally be hidden.

Agent and I use almost all the same add-ons, they're what separate FireFox from the rest IMO.

I miss all those add-ons. FF took a shit on me once day and I've been using Chrome ever since. Not sure what went wrong with FF, but it just because REALLY slow and a memory whore.

Have you used it since 3.0? They've made some vast improvements. I just can't get into other browsers. I've tried Chrome, Opera, and Safari but I always come back to FF. The others may be a little faster at this point but like I said the add-ons are what I love about it.

NoScript
WOT
DownThemAll

NoScript will block EVERYTHING. However I use Google Chrome now, its so much faster. Firefox takes a few second to load then its gotta load google where as Chrome you click the icon and instantly its open on google or youtube or w/e your homepage.

I used to use Firefox but ever since it started taking 10-30 seconds to load, (MS Outlook was loading faster) I switched to Chrome.
The Addons I used were:
-Adblock Plus (Best thing in the world, hate seeing ads in google).
-Firebug (Used to debug webpages and make changes from the browser without effecting the site, live preview I would say).
-No Script.
-Foxmarks (now named xMarks, AWESOME!!! Never lose your bookmarks from a crash again. Also if you are else where and can't get to your favorites (friends house?) you can go online and pull them up, it is a great sync tool, used it on about 4 computers to sync my Bookmarks).
-NASA Night Launch Theme.
-AVG plugin (Checks to see if site is in a harmful DB and Google results are shown with a green check or red check.)
I had a few others but after uninstalling FF (it was also crashing on occasion) I don't remember all of them.

ive never had any problems with firefox. its only crashed once for me.

The only one I use is the mouse gestures-now named firegestures. I hate using the stupid forward or back buttons. A flick of the wrist is much more convenient. Of course, those gestures are built into Opera.

I've actually become a fan of Opera lately. It used to be quirky and prone to crashing, but the latest version is very stable, is much faster than FF and it displays web sites much better than FF. For instance, our home page-instead of having a tiny preview box that shows the most recent posts, in Opera it runs down the center of the page so you can see of the recent posts.

Start up for fox is a little slow. However it really only seems to be slow the first time you open it after the cpu is shut down or comes back from hibernate.
I ave a few others, but the ones listed before are my faves.
