Video editing tools ?

any recommends or a licence they don't need :( sadly the only thing i don't have now that i have video recording at use daily
 
Sony Movie Studio is great for the money I run 12 over here but it looks like 13 got dumbed down a little with big buttons. The majority of shit in Vegas Pro that doesn't make it into Movie Studio is the Adobe After Effects equivalent crap. Adobe Premiere Pro is great but were talking money, I think Premiere Elements got better but it was really dumbed down the one time that I used it.
 
I use Camtasia studio. Works well, but isn't on the cheap end either.
 
Vegas Movie Studio 12 or 13 for game editing. You won't need anything it can't offer. At least I don't think you will.
 
What are you going to use it for? I use Adobe Premiere Pro for all of my film projects, shorts, music videos, etc., it's probably the best bang for your buck. AVID is often used by film industry folks, but it is definitely the most complex and hardest to use.
