Although this might be technically possible with an an aerobatic plane (the control surfaces and power/weight ratio are huge), the landing seemed very, very fake...

Also I'm not sure if these guys carry chutes or if the seats are made to eject at all, but I know sure as hell if I were in that plane and my wing came off, I'd be out of it quite promptly...

Now if he didn't have a chute, then I can understand...

I'm calling bullshit on it...

Having seen this video posted by the pilot i can tell you it is real. it's not a full size plane though
it's RC. and if you have enough aileron authority and a light enough wind loading you can do it

Pretty sure iot is a composite video of the rc plane with some creative video editing. Last part is definitly fake
