Time for a new case

Current mb is standard atx.

Thanks chain but I'd have to pass on the Raven that design doesn't do as great as you think.

I have always liked the 600t but it's like 6 yrs old and still overpriced

If heat is a problem, why not get a side fan instead of a window in your next case? I like both those you listed but if heat dissipation you might look for one with a side fan, though it will collect more dust.

When I did my build about 5 months ago I was seriously considering the Corsair Air 540, but I decided to go with the Cooler Master HAF XB EVO. The HAF has a similar shape as the Air 540, but it's much smaller. Cooler Master's intention of the HAF was for it to be a LAN BOX, therefore it is constructed of metal with handles on the side, rather than plastic. The hot swap bays can be nice if you have more than a couple storage drives. The only down fall to this case is that it's a tight squeeze inside, but that's the price you pay for a smaller box. Also, Cooler Master does sell extra parts for this box, and a company called Demciflex sells custom made filters if needed (the HAF has a few filters but may need more). Lastly, the air flow is awesome!

Heat isn't a issue mainly space and looks. ATM this 540 case takes half the desk im just looking at different options to allow room for a second monitor to fit on desk.

I'll look at Ravens one more time see if there's one I like.

Raptor I own the haf case there's a evo version now but with mine I found air intake isn't the greatest.

Any other brand suggestions?

I had a nxzt and it was a nice case also.. The only thing was it was kind of flimsy. It did flex quite a bit but other than that the construction was awesome

Had this case it was a really awesome case! Very nice construction and a ton of air flow. Little bit older design though. Still excellent case if you're only going to air cool.

This was my last builds case. Beautiful paint finish on it and ton of fan options plus room for any liquid cooling solution you can think of

also little bit on the larger side and little pricey but this case I always thought looked as a sexy as the 900D with a way lower price tag. Excellent case if you need a ton of drive space and only plan on air cooling

This case got a award from PC gamer mag
Saw it in person was a nice case I like the PSU cover it's a nice touch

NZXT H440 or S340 are both lovely.
Be Quiet Silent Base 800 also nice.

I heard really good things about the fractional but I've never had personal experience with them since they're a newer case company.

Wow that case is like a water coolers dream lol !! Wish woulda known about it earlier might have picked one up.

If you're not going to water cool I'd avoid the fractional because it does sacrifice drive capacity and HDD capacity for water cooling. I also think for air cooling it's not the best. I mean it was meant for one thing..... water cooling period.

that phantek is waaaayyy over priced

I used a Fractional case for my wife's PC. It's one of the nicer cases, design and build wise, that I've ever used. Great quality, you can't go wrong with them IMO. I'm very partial to the Phanteks though. A friend of mine has that one and it is very well built and designed and is just a great option.

I have a fractal case fantastic quality.

Why not just move your current case off your desk so you'll have the room you need for the monitor? You can use the money you'll save by not buying a new case and put it towards your new monitor. I have mine under my desk on the floor. And you won't have to stare at all the wires on your desk or pick up the heat from your monitors.

p.s. I have two Fractal Design cases, love them. They're simple, functional, quiet and tasteful. They just disappear into the left corner cabinet under my desk...

Joel you know I'd love to do something like yours but I don't have the space in my room. I can't put the case on the floor because the darn thing is wider than a standard case look up the corsair air 540 and you'll see what I mean.

I swear by the NZXT Phantom for a full tower case. I keep mine off the floor and off the desk using a cheap-ass metal office rack.

I don't own it myself, but a few good friends own the NZXT H440 and have never had any issues. It's a medium tower if you're looking for something smaller that can still hold multiple GPU's of varying sizes and provide good airflow. The airflow will not quite match up with many full tower cases, but if you're not doing SLI, and don't have super hot components, or greatly overclocked aprts, the air cooling in this case will work great. It can also handle liquid cooling, the specific radiator size(s) I don't know off the top of my head.
Lastly, it's pretty sexy.
