Power Supply Calculator

Nice, it says what I thought it needs, a 1000 watts but I'm running with less (620 watt). I'm just waiting till me PSU burns up.........lol Gives me a reason to buy a new one.

Recommended 600 for me. In fact the computer pulls around 350 watts (measured by a kill-a-watt) from the wall, when video card and processor are both at 100%.

That's pretty good.
What device did you use to record the watts? I wouldn't mind seeing what mine is.

You can also buy a potentiometer/multimeter (or whatever that's called in English)... and fiddle with more detailed stuff, if you're an electronics hardware guru, but the above is a simple and effective measure of total system wattage consumption.

Useful if you want to find out what wattage things around the house pull too...

I thought it was going to be more expensive than that.

Thanks
