Hi all. My Logitech G35 Gaming headset head mount is about to break so i guess i'm back in the market for a headset. I love over the ear, which cancels noise. This is my 3rd pair of the Logitech G35 and I love it, but it looks like they quite making it. Any suggestions? I don't mind wired, fine with this USB. Guess I need to change brands now though because I don't see over the ear at the Logitech site unless i'm missing something.

i had g35 for 5 years. loved them, then i used my old 2012 astro a40s with a mix amp. 10x more sound probably from the mixamp

I actually prefer a pair of studio/audiophile headphones (Sennheiser makes great headphones). They have amazing sound quality compared to what you can get with a gaming headset. All you have to do is grab something like a modmic/ dedicated mic and you're all set.

Depending on how much you want to spend (and if you want a built in microphone), studio headsets with a DAC have way better sound quality, "gaming headset" mic quality is usually meh, studio headsets have better build quality as well.
I use a
FiiO E10K USB DAC

and the AKG K702's

Granted that is pricey, but the quality is very noticeable. As a reference I have Astro A40 TR's (high end gaming headset) for use on console that are passable but don't hang with my PC setup.

Corsair void pro wireless. https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA73M8KK8738 (shop around you can get them cheaper than this)

They don't hurt your ears. Extremely comfortable. Since I bought these. I will never go back to a wired pair for gaming. I would love to cut the cord and go wireless on my mouse to ,but I afraid of the performance hit on a wireless mouse.
