I had to change my pants after I saw this little beta teaser today.
Game is still under development, but supposedly they're aiminig for a 2009 release.
Apparently, 8v8 max multiplayer, with AI controlling some ships (obviously - there's WAY more than 16 things shooting on that trailer lol).
It's like a modern remake of Freespace 2 in all its glory.
I hope it plays as good as it looks... and they make the release they're going for.
Oh, btw they're targeting a price of $20-25... (Euro 15-20), trying to keep it indie and cheap.
Developer team seems to be 3 people from what I read on the forums :-D . Game name and devs are Italian. Not sure what it means.
Apparently, game is strictly multiplayer, with some kind of mode where you hold "control points" like Battlefield's Conquest mode. No single player, but plans for "mission" type gameplay after release - through a DLC or patch possibly... like coop or multi "escort the transport" and so forth. No team deathmatch or any kind of deathmatch apparently for now.
